An extremely original and inventive movie that also gets under your skin. There seems to be a lot of debate about it online, people loving it or hating it. There is not even any dialogue for over 20 minutes so I guess that can throw people.
My wife and I were really sucked in, however, and felt both the build up and the pay off were terrific. It is a very cinematic movie - widescreen and gorgeous, and the sound and score are incredible. Very good acting, too.
It is very different, that is for sure. Unlike any movie or ghost story I've seen. But for those looking for something intriguing and maybe a little challenging, we highly recommend it.
