Review of The Preppie Connection (2016) by Nick M — 14 Mar 2016
This movie was awesome! I got to see an advance screening and I'm so glad I did. The film does such a good job of showcasing life at elite boarding schools and how an otherwise good kid could get seduced into doing the wrong thing.
I was so fascinated by the story I had go google the real events to find out more. Thomas Mann is becoming quite the young actor nowadays. I was already a fan, but to me the two breakout stars were Lucy Fry and Logan Huffman.
Lucy is so perfect for the role and totally reminds me of the types of girls I went to prep school with. Logan plays the rich douchebag so well. But these aren't just stereotypes. You see the nuance and get that there are reasons these characters are the way they are! Ok, enough gushing on my part.
I suspect I'm beginning to ramble. I'm not sure when its out to the masses, but when it is do yourself a favor and go check it out.
