Review of The Predator (2018) by Luke T — 27 Nov 2018
Goofy, downright silly at times, but a strong cast and solid action, effects and pyro make it very watchable. Yeaaah, the CGI fails are here and there and what Shane explored in Ironman 3 with Tony and the kid is back to pretty much become the core of the plot.
But it's based around Halloween and not fucking Xmas for a change. Big screenplay step forward for Black. The critcal trouncing was too brutal when lined up side by side with the AVP disgraces. Hardcore original Predator film fans might find this a bit too light and breezy, but I had a mostly good time.
But, I'll watch anything with Thomas Jane...
