What a let down for the series. So many good comic book series they could have based this on if they needed original material. Predators upgrading themselves is a lame idea. A predator bringing something to help save humanity, while killing humans at the same time is a horrible plot hole.
Having a translation machine for the predator to talk through is lazy writing.
