I heard many negative things going into this movie, so I really didnï¿ 1/2(TM)t have very high expectations. But as always, I put any I did have out of my mind and dove into the world of ï¿ 1/2The Predatorï¿ 1/2Â? and hoped for a good time.

What I got was a wonderful nostalgic and action packed time. Director Shane Black had nailed it. This movie was beautifully shot from a really fun script from Black and long time collaborator Fred Dekker.

A lot of cheese and some great one liners that took me back to what made movies like this so great in the 80s and 90s. The cast of characters was perfect, led by one of my favorite young action stars, Boyd Holbrook.

I could go on forever about how much I liked this movie, so just do yourself a favor and go rent this new classic and judge for yourself.
