Review of The Predator (2018) by Adrian F — 14 Nov 2018

Not the sequel I'd hoped for. But not terrible. It's got some great aspects. Thomas Jane steals some scenes with his character. On the whole it's a bit thin on the story line and over reliant on the gags.

I expected something darker and more menacing. It's watchable and it's a decent popcorn muncher if a little confusing at the outset. But they're still a long way off matching the first two films for atmosphere and story.

If they'd adapt some the paperback novels that are around they'd do better. But all that said it's a Predator movieand Predators are cool as fuck.
