There is no way that a new predator or Alien movie is superior to the first ones, The Predator is not that bad, but it could have been much better.

I mean, imagine if they had done one more time the plot of the hunter taking down the soldiers one by one again, apparently that's what the audience wanted to see, but at the same time they would have said that it´s repetitive and unoriginal. Shane Black did what he could, but he definitely does not have the.

Same quality that has put on other films like the nice guys, he takes elements from the other predator movies but in this one he took more freedom in terms of tone, we only see action and comedy and no suspense, I admit that it made me laugh more than I expected but maybe it was not.

The ideal path for this movie. In terms of creature design it's excellent, the new super predator looks great, but the plot was very disappointing.

As a fan of predator I think it's entertaining and fun but it´s a mediocre movie for sure.
