Review of The Predator (2018) by Danny M — 02 Oct 2018
Can something be considered "disappointing" if you are 100%, full-on EXPECTING it to be disappointing?
I say, "no". To paraphrase the late, great, Denny Green, this movie was what I thought it was.
Terrible writing, terrible casting, terrible acting, ridiculous motivations, and characters who are more one-dimensional than the Seven Dwarfs from "Snow White".
There is a scene where Sterling K. Brown's character literally puts on a pair of sunglasses (at NIGHT, mind you), simply so he can enter a room and dramatically take off the sunglasses. (I'm not making that up).
Just terrible. View this movie only for free or at your own peril.
