Review of The Predator (2018) by Alpharebel — 13 Sep 2018
Well it's a little dissapointing given Shane Blacks history with the franchise, it's not a bad movie per se, it's just outstandingly mediocre. The acting is at worse, serviceable but there are some cracking turnouts by quite well known actors.
(and I didn't even recognise 2 of them till I saw the credits!) Studio ADI delivers the goods on the practical FX's side although some of the CGI stuff looks a bit naff. The movie falls apart though with the script pacing and some bafflingly confused geography when it comes to the coincidences of places and the purposes they serve.
Disappointed, but at least it's better then the last effort.
