Review of The Power of One (1992) by Steve H — 03 Oct 2007
A white child growing up in the thick of apartheid South Africa--almost a symbol of the painful, instrospection that the nation faces.
Compelling. A companion piece to Cry, The Beloved Country. The hauntingly beautiful choral singing of the native blacks is only one of the vivid details that cinema brings to the story.
