Review of The Poughkeepsie Tapes (2007) by Kristal C — 05 Dec 2009
An interesting and different type of horror film. Mainly because it's portrayed as a Documentry, intercut with "found" footage a serial killer has filmed with his camera. It's low budget, but brings over the horror aspect really well by making the violence, torture & killing very realistic, and not like a bunch of polished hollywood special effects.
Plus hiding some of the gore or violence just offscreen. I look forward to what this director does with a decent budget.
