Review of The Poughkeepsie Tapes (2007) by Lorena S — 12 Apr 2012
In reviewing this film, the killer was portrayed as being a necrophiliac, sadist, rapist, abductor, rapist, child molester, voyeuristic, fetishist, and also being somewhat smart. Now with all that being said, I think to "profile" someone as the investigators did in this movie, they did not make clear distinctions as to which profile this killer fit in.
.. They described him as being a disorganized and organized but lacked in describing why he was moving in all directions... Also some of the profile characteristics appear to be far-fetched in that the killer was a smorgasboard of characteristics where as profiles tend to follow patterns and familiarities.
It was almost like the guy had multiple personalities but this was never implied directly or indirectly for that matter. Some consistency but then not...
