Review of The Postman Always Rings Twice (1981) by Ian G — 08 Jun 2009
An example of a movie that has gotten worse with age. The story really goes nowhere, and the acting is limp. The music score is worse and completely inappropriate for the action. It seems like Anjelica Huston was shoehorned in for a scene to make Jack happy - completely did not make sense. What a waste of a movie and time.
Disappointing. The first sex scene is pretty intense, and the "crash" sex scene was definitely a precursor to the Crash movie with James Spader & Holly Hunter.
