Wonderful characters; highly unique concept. I love the deconstructive approach to sci-fi. Again, Costner is fun as a sort of reluctant hero. And, man, are the bad guys bad!
Tom Petty's cameo is priceless.
I'm totally biased, though, because while I enjoyed all 178 minutes, the film could've used some editing and could've been less disjointed. But I love it anyway!!
