Review of The Postman (1997) by Judge L — 05 Jan 2009
Saw this film back in December of '97 when it first came out; have seen it many times since. However, it has been a long time since I have sat down and watched it from beginning to the end.
It is still is an enjoyable film to watch, good story, for the most part good acting(some cheesy parts by some actors), and well filmed.
I found it quite odd back then that Costner would do two Post-Apocalyptic films within two years from one another...but I enjoyed both films.
Well worth a watch if you have never seen it, and well worth a re-visit if it has been awhile since you have seen it.
Looks good on DVD.
