In a way this film has so much going for it - a really compelling story world, some cool cinematography, the mystery about what happened to the US to make things go belly up, these crazy horse riding seditionist nuts and their general bethlehem, but unfortunately that's where it ends and turns to cheese.
a kids film at best. and way too long. worse than waterworld.
