Review of The Postman (1997) by Corey C — 06 Dec 2011
This film is one of those few that come around every so often where people shut their eyes and ears and simply don't to accept the fact that it is good. Kevin Kostner received a bad rep for his film Waterworld, and people seem to grasp that and use it against him.
But, unfortunately for the haters of this film, it isn't really comparable because this film is excellent. This film has adventure, good acting (especially by Will Patton), and an inspirational and beautiful soundtrack and score.
This film shows that hope can come from a single source and spread like wildfire, burning all evil within its path. Despite the moronic ones who don't have the mind capacity to actually appreciate a film like this, for those who enjoy adventure, story, hope, and excellent characters and acting, then this is definitely a film worth seeing.
.. over and over and over again.
