A movie with an all-star cast and a stellar director marred by overacting and poor directing. The cast would have benefitted from better direction and the director should have had tighter control of the pace and the flow of the movie.
at least one sequence of someone stepped off a curb and almost being hit by a car was done twice and some of the newsroom sequences were staged so poorly that it looked like a bunch of actors playing at being reporters.
Very sad!
