Review of The Post (2017) by Bill-Keydel — 16 Jan 2018
Just got home after seeing The Post and feel compelled to write a raving review. This is easily one of the best movies of the year and certainly the most relevant to issues of the year: freedom of the press and women's empowerment.
I was deeply moved, inspired and found hope and optimism from this movie. The film does a great job of portraying the complexities of our messy world and our heroes as people making difficult choices while they work through situations.
For feminists, Katharine Graham should be a hero as should all the news people who take risks "to serve the governed, not the governors".
