Review of The Post (2017) by Bkm — 24 Jan 2018
This is more of a layup for Spielberg than a slam dunk, but it's a respectable film all the same. The cast is excellent and Spielberg does a good job of evoking the look and feel of the era. Many will roll their eyes and sneer at the self-congratulatory nature of the proceedings, but it's still a story that's worth telling nearly 50 years later.
