Review of The Post (2017) by Camille L — 28 Jan 2018
Wonderful film about the perseverance of the press when a government wishes to oppress it from revealing a sinister reality. Hanks and Streep were incredible. More interesting was what Greenwood did with McNamara, he played a well known historical figure in such an interesting way that brought him to life for those of us who did not know him beyond his role in the Vietnam war.
The elements of the film outside of the story were awesome. The visuals were appealing, the costumes, the shots of NY and DC. It was all in all a wonderful experience that I look forward to seeing again on blu ray.
