Review of The Possession of Hannah Grace (2018) by Shirley A — 03 Dec 2018
A cross between a joke and a seemingly complex NA meeting, The Possession of Hannah Grace is simply elementary in screenplay. We see throughout the film Meganï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2(TM)s addiction as an issue that only the director knows about.
Besides a few heavy breathes by Megan, the struggle in her addiction is as prevalent as honesty in politics. This brings me to an interesting point in that Megan is very well still using prescription pills.
Her calmness and reaction to Hannah Graces carcass can only be justified by her use of prescription pills. The cracking and off putting skin color of Hannah Grace reminds me of an under cooked chicken breast.
Visual effects were non existent. Determined by a possible agreement between all Hollywood writers , a romantic plot was installed in a horror film. Why? Because why not. Between Andrew Kurtzï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2(TM)s love relationship and the emotional support of Lisa, Megan had a cast of characters to feed her narcissism to.
Poor plot development neglected Lisaï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2(TM)s struggle with addiction and Andrews PTSD from the same night she witnessed the murder of her old partner/lover. Aside from all this, the movie receives 2 stars from me, solely off the acting David portrayed in his ï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2~grand slamï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2(TM) scene.
Very well done David.
