The Possession delivers, surprising well done, with so many demonic genre films that have been released, many being very cliché and cheesy, this was good. This movie was based on a true incident ( a special feature on the DVD, has the story and the people behind the actual possessed antique box).
Originality in this film came from a Jewish exorcism, not done before in movies, usually you see a Christian exorcist to perform exorcisms, not this time. This movie is light on horror, though it does have its moments, but heavy on physiological and visual scares guaranteed.
