Review of The Possession (2012) by Jay B — 27 May 2013
This film is pleasantly tame compared to the recent stream of possession films. While it doesn't even attempt originality, I give it props for its modesty.. it kept its pacing slow and anticipatory.
The parents we exceptionally well cast also... surprisingly endearing. The box thing seems like kind of a lame set up, but is apparently based on a real Jewish legend... so it can be forgiven. 'The Possession' falls pretty close to the middle on the scale of demon films.
