Forget the average remake, this is the real deal! A film that always seems to be on Tv every Christmas, repeated viewings have not diminished this classic disaster movies power. A cruise ship capsizes leaving a handful of survivors to battle to reach safety.
Great performances, especially from Gene Hackman as the disallusioned clergyman, contribute to a 5* movie.
