Great adventure and thriller film. Gene Hackman, Ernest Borgnine and Shelley Winters... amazing the three of them. It's an extraordinary work of entertainment and is by far much better than the remake, because it's more realistic, it has better acting, best script, best directing and you can really get into the characters and undestand the situations and events, and the reasons of why they happen.
