Review of The Portrait of a Lady (1996) by Emma E — 19 Aug 2007

I picked up this movie by chance and was very pleasantly surprised. Nicole Kidman really did a pretty good job as the leading lady in the film. It is heart breaking story of one woman's surrendering to a man and then realizing too late the horrid mistake she has made.

It causes the viewer to think twice about surrendering one's dreams even when disapproved of by society, friends, and family.
