Review of The Pool (2001) by David C — 08 Feb 2009
A rather vapid and unexciting thriller, "Swimming Pool" is replete with shit loads of nudity. I think that by the time you see this movie its entirety, you will have seen almost all of Ludivine Sagnier, as well (and unfortunately even Charlotte Rampling ::BARF::).
While the film has a distinctively European flair, it is by no means tense or exciting, and the revelation at the end is not as potent as it should be because of this. This film was not good, but not entirely bad either.
