Review of The Polka King (2017) by Bill T — 24 Jan 2018
This was actually surprisingly great. Based on a true story about a polka orchestra leader who embezzed millions of dollars, Jack Black really gets into the heart and soul of the character, someone way over there head, but not too sure how to get out of it.
It's a pretty amazing story, and it's transferred quite well to the screen. The only part that fizzled was all the scenes with the IRS guy... seemed to turn into very broad comedy then.
