Even watching the 3D blu-ray version does not help this one earn five stars like my beloved BOLT, no sorry and at the 47 minute mark I looked at the clock as I was a bit bored..maybe little ones may love it in 3D but adults will be a bit bored.
This is the story of a young boy on Christmas Eve who boards on a powerful magical train that's headed to the North Pole to visit Santa Claus' home. He is doubtful that Santa Claus exists and during the train ride, he meets other kids from different ethnicities and socio-economic levels.
.He learns about friendship, the power of believing and leading and of course discoveres that Santa exists and as long as you believe, Santa will always exist in your heart...some of the 3D effects were good and the train going down the tracks super fast was cool but it is not that great.
So three stars go for 3D effects and overall storyline. Recommended but I would not buy it..
