Review of The Polar Bear King (1991) by Joseph A — 27 May 2012
First of all, the characters bond, and fulfill the point of the movie in the first 15 minutes. After that, there is no reason to keep watching. Second of all, the rest of the time is a bunch of filler, and when they have a child (even though he's only a human at midnight and can't be seen or the curse will deepen) she's made invisible by the ghost of the King's mother.
They quickly get over it (she doesn't shed a tear, just makes a boo hoo noise and quickly gets over it when he tells her to calm down). Then they just have twins to get over the missing baby. But the Ghost Mother takes them too.
This movie has no plotline, makes no sense, and unfortunately lacks any sort of Character development. This is a terrible movie, and I'm sorry I watched it.
