Too muddled & sloppy. Too long, too slow, too unfocused. Just when you expected [The Pledge] is a crime thriller, it is actually exploring the life & psychological development of a retired detective (Jack Nicholson).
A list of stars' guest appearance, Benicio Del Toro is really wonderful.
