Review of The Pledge (2001) by Carter N — 27 Jul 2008
The movie was very interesting with a great ending - but it wasn't that good after all. Sean Penn is a very talented director and Jack Nicholson is absolutely brilliant, but even with also great performances from Robin Wright Penn, Benicio Del Toro, Mickey Rourke, Vanessa Redgrave and Helen Mirren, the film still isn't good enough to gain more than 3 stars.
