Review of The Player (1992) by Gavin S — 30 Aug 2007
Hollywood loves making fun of itself and the late Robert Altman was no exception. This film is at its heart both a satire of and a love letter to Hollywood. As a story the film is quite flawed, but when it pokes fun at Hollywood it is very successful.
It may not be perfect, but it is enjoyable.
