Review of The Player (1992) by Peter B — 05 Aug 2008
At its best when poking fun at hollywood and itself but at its worst when spending too long on its love story/romance. Brilyantly directed tho with legendary long takes and steadicam-ness. Its also probably the most star studded film of allllllllll tyyyyyyyme with cameos and blink and miss em actors in the background.
Tim Robbins seems a bit bored in it too.
