Review of The Player (1992) by Jan R — 05 Feb 2009
An exceptionly dark and satirical look into the bitchy and cut throught world of movie making. its got a rediculesly slow start, and suffers some occsionly quiet scenes that almost grinde too a halt. but in all altman hes created a film thats funny, dark and unique.
tim robiins preformance is briliant too watch. and thomas newmans quirky soundtrack tops it off. too think that most of the films best lines were created by the actors them selvs, only adds too its charm.
I recomend the player.
