Review of The Player (1992) by Rob H — 02 Jul 2010
The Player satires the darker side of Hollywood, with a storyline told in a circular fashion, where the end of the movie brings you to the beginning. Fifty Hollywood bigwigs make cameo appearances, primarily at the Pool Party, the benefit dinner, and the movie within the movie, Habeus Corpus.
The primary musical score, the snake and drums of Kyoto, helps build the storyline. Greenland is very icy, and Iceland is very green.
