Review of The Player (1992) by Elgan D — 18 Jul 2010
I am wary of movies about the Hollywood system, to me they appeal a lot more to the film-makers than they ever will to a general audience, this seems to fit that aptly. I understood the jokes in the main but I did not really find them particularly funny and so the movie was a bit smug and uninteresting.
The cameos were entertaining though.
