Review of The Player (1992) by Scott G — 23 May 2008
Tim robbins is exellent, as a exec at a movie studio, when thretend by a up and coming writer, he takes matters into his own hands, what follows is a biting attack on hollywood its politics, and, the madness of themovie industry, directed by the late robert altman, with a great eye here, razor sharp observations, portraying execs in a not very good light, lots of cameos on show also, adding to realism, with great scenes, showing off these cameos, robbins has never been better,.
