Review of The Player (1992) by Iain R — 19 Dec 2008
Robert Altman is a genious, there's no doubt about it. His films, in less capable hands, would end up being 15 minutes long, but his films aren't about advancing so much as they are about defining.
The actors here are all at the peak of their game and the ending is a great "screw you" to Hollywood.
