Review of The Plague Dogs (1982) by Neil C — 02 Jun 2007
5 stars for the uncut, 4 for the edited version. Sadly the uncut is only available in austrailia. Dark gritty and grizzly animated film that is criminally underrated. With an almost Takahata-esque mix of realism and fantasy, Martin Rosen puts together a very powerful and intense tale about two dogs running away from animal testing.
The best American animated film of all time.
