Zomg. This movie is so sad and eerie. Depiction of "The Todd" is brilliant. I can't believe I never heard of this movie until now, but it makes me happy for 2 reasons, first that I read the book before seeing it and secondly that with the effect Watership Down had on me as a child I can't imagine what this film would have done.
Having said that I think that these movies are really essential watching for children as well as the animated adaptation of "Animal Farm" from 1954. Absolutely 5 stars, an absolute classic.
