Review of The Plague Dogs (1982) by Matt M — 07 Jan 2009
From the author of the books and the film makers behind â??Watership Downâ?? comes a touching story of two dogs that just want to be. Escaping from a tortuous laboratory, they try and survive any way possible.
A stab at cruel scientific research and a parable on the innate will to live, it will tug at your heartstrings. Tense and intense, I recommend finding a torrent of the uncut version. A little more story really helps the narrative.
Plus you get some extra violence, and who doesn't like that? Not for young children, but tweens and up should really learn something from this... if they can experience empathy.
