Review of The Place Beyond the Pines (2013) by Simon P — 30 Oct 2013
While the running time may deter some people from its viewing, The Place Beyond The Pines does a good job connecting its 3 storylines into one flowing and continuos plot that reaches into the depths of very touchy thematic material, including family and fate.
While it may seem disconnected, and at times lengthy, this film brings something to the screen that very few people have seen before, and with the connections it makes, provides quality film-making throughout (very fine performances from the entire cast.
