Review of The Place Beyond the Pines (2013) by Jared Z — 17 Jan 2014

The story is about a daredevil motorcyclist quits his carnival job when he learns a former lover has a son - and he now has a family. In order to provide for them, he takes on a series of bank robberies, putting all his riding skills to good use.

But this puts him on a crash course with an ambitious police officer looking for a quick way to rise through the ranks of his corrupt precinct. Over the course of 15 years, the story unfolds, leaving a legacy for their children - who will have to face the consequences of these actions.

This movie splits into three different and I did not see that coming to be honest.
