'The Place Beyond the Pines' is a 2012 crime film starring real-life couple Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes. It also has the always watchable and authentic Bradley Cooper and Ray Liotta, both playing small town cops in Schenectady, New York. The movie has just enough ingredients for everyone; suspense, plot twists, crazy characters, corruption, revenge, and well, Eva Mendes.
Give it chance as a rental.
