Review of The Place Beyond the Pines (2013) by Kurt F — 09 Feb 2015
2/8/15 THe character development is quite engrossing. I enjoyed the story and it felt pretty realistic. The story is divided into 3 parts. The 2nd part about cop corruption was the weakest, it wasn't developed enough, so it was a little hard to follow and it felt a little out of place.
But, the other two about the bank robber and the cop's family's are quite good. It is certainly not a "feel good" film, but it will keep you interested in the characters the whole way through.
