This movie is sort of what I thought it was going to be. The Place Beyond The Pines stars Ryan Gosling as a man who wants his son he never thought he had to have the best future he can have. The beginning to this movie I was really getting out of it! Ryan Gosling was awesome as Luke.

The bank robberies were really intense and I rooted for the guy because he was doing a sorta good thing. He seemed like a guy who was maybe misunderstood but has good intentions for the people he loves.

Then we get Bradley Cooper in the story and I was really enjoying him throughout this movie. He killed it in this movie! When it reached about the 3/4 point I started to enjoy the movie less and less.

It started focusing on the kids of the two main characters which was sorta interesting but I really didn't care for them like at all. They liked each other and then get into an argument then like each other again and then get busted.

It just seemed like the movie didn't really go very far after that. The complete ending to the film was nice and touching but it just couldn't raise my opinion about the 25 minutes before that.

This movie looked beautiful throughout and I was just boggled by the amazing shots. Overall The Place Beyond the Pines had some great performances, a nice story and is shot beautifully. I would've loved this movie if it was like the first 3/4 of the movie but unfortunately it lost me and didn't quite redeem itself.
