Review of The Pixar Story (2007) by Daniel W — 24 Jan 2009
A solid, well produced documentary about the innovators and personalities that built the hugely successful Pixar 3D animation studio.
I particularly enjoyed the segment about the disastrous first screening of the "edgy" TOY STORY. Apparently Woody was originally envisioned as an arrogant jerk. Fortunately for them (and movie fans) they had enough time to overhaul almost everything.
Funny, engaging stuff.
