(1991) The Pit And The Pendulum.
HORROR.
Low budget horror film from "Full Moon" which is another revision of a story written by Edgar Allen Poe centering on extremist radical priest who calls himself "Torquemada" played by Lance Henrickson sentencing and executing innocent accusers of practicing witchcraft who abuses this power to the extreme.
The reason I liked this film is because it took some liberties regarding the Allan Edgar Poe classic.
